Hope Makes Champions

Mr. Luke Roxas, President of the St. Francis Square Group of Companies, has given this year’s Makati Hope Fellowship Alumni Basketball League Most Valuable Player Award to Raymond Alborte.

Alborte is an active member of the Makati Hope Christian School Alumni Basketball League of 2011 and with his vast experience as a basketball player, Alborte is sure to go a long way with this sport. Another notable MHCS alumnus is basketball player Tim Lexter Ang – having a medal and extraordinary sportsmanship, Ang is one of the mythical five joining MVP Alborte.

Serving God in Different Ways

Mr. Luke C. Roxas continues to provide variety of ways to become faithful and united with the Almighty One. The greatest strength that MVP Raymond Alborte possesses is his strong belief in God. Every point he makes, he offers it to Him. The Makati Hope Fellowship, together with Makati Hope Christian School aims to become excellent physically, mentally, and spiritually. With Mr. Luke C. Roxas leading both establishments, members of these groups will surely be accomplished with the help of God. Faith and success comes hand in hand. Best examples of this principle are none other than Mr. Luke C. Roxas himself, Most Valuable Player Raymond Alborte, and Mythical Five member Tim Lexter Ang.

The event was held at Makati Hope Christian School last June 26, 2011. Visitors came and enjoyed the ceremony that gave these winners the honor they deserve. Winners not just on the court but also in life, this is how a sportsman should live. Most Valuable Player Raymond Alborte and Tim Lexter Ang serve as role models to aspiring basketball players. Strive for the best and put God above the rest and you shall achieve your goal in life.

Due to the success of the Makati Hope Fellowship and Makati Hope Christian School Basketball League 2011, the establishments are planning another league that will take place in the near future. This event will be as wonderful as its predecessor and may even exceed expectations.
